Yamato is a Japanese taiko drumming troupe that tours all over the world. The title of YAMATO’s newest program is “Passion”. As some of you may know, YAMATO welcomed the 26th anniversary in 2019, celebrating the group’s tours and performances in around 54 different countries, with over 4,000 performances that (have) reached almost 8 million people.
Since the formation of the group in 1993, YAMATO's slogan has been "Let's go to wherever we are invited! Let's give energy to the world!" With these words in our hearts, we have traveled all over the world, giving over 200 performances a year, maintaining a relentless momentum that shows no signs of slowing down.

ご存知の方もいらっしゃるかもしれないが、２０１９年に結成２６周年を迎えた「倭」はこれまでになんと世界５４カ国で公演ツアーを行なって来た。その公演数は４０００回を優に超え、観客動員数は８００万人に迫ろうとしている。１９９３年結成以来のモットーは「呼ばれれば何処へでも行こう！世界中を元気にしよう！」。その言葉を胸に世界中を駆け回り、１年に２００回を超える公演をこなし、その活動は現在も留まることを知らない。
